Invasion
This is about a third of them, all I was able to get in a grab shot in the rain. A pair with their offspring wandering the front yard isn't unusual, but a whole goose neighborhood decided to picnic here this morning.
Oh yeah. As you'll recall, there's a lot of water around here, and the Canadas -- green carded or H1b'ed -- wax fat on our corn.
They're back this morning, though not in quite such numbers. Yesterday's lawn count was four or five married couples and somewhere around 30 goslings. Takes care of the late spring fertilization needs.
