How scared should we be?

I'm not going to live-blog the President's  speech,  but I'll offer you the first quote I heard a few seconds ago. He says of the auto industry: "Our  (White House)  evaluation  is now  complete."

If that doesn't scare Hell out of you,  you and I do not share even the slightest similarity of thought processes.

I wonder what Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden will decide to evaluate next.

Haven't you noticed the lack of plural pronouns yet? Everything is "I-my-me-mine" with this guy. I need to get out my DVD of the Constitution tonight and see where the Chief Executive is empowered to remove businessmen. Well, there was that guy at Montgomery-Wards that the MPs hauled away in his swivel chair, but that was different. I think.

Although I agree with JohnW., methinks you may be overeacting. Given the intellectual prowess of those clowns in Washington, "our evaluation" probably yielded little more than, "Gee, they make cars and trucks". JAGSC

As the Munchkin Wrangler said; "Good thing government bailed out the whaling industry in the late 19th century. Where would we get lamp oil now?"
