Vintage gun pron

A Remington 514, pretty as only a stripped-down minimalist machine can be.

Long, long ago, in the Great American Midwest, a twelve-year-old clodhopper was given his first rifle, a Remington 514, that in a fit of college-induced impecunity was sold for a half cup of pottage. Not until eight years ago was I able to correct this shame. Best $100 I ever spent.

I've always tended to fancy Winchester, at least in .22s. You are the man who sparked my interest in the Remington 500 series. I owe you.

well, if you ever decide you have too many of 'em... The repeaters are nice, too.
Mine - and most I've seen, for some reason have replacement bolts.
