Libertarian thinking about everything.
--Ere he shall lose an eye for such a trifle... For doing deeds of nature! I'm ashamed. The law is such an ass. -- G. Chapman, 1654.
I forgot, but it can't last much longer. The ice is uneven and weakish. It got a heavy snow cover early so was protected from weeks of sub -zero temps. If you can find a fool (look for a blue hair with Iowa plates on the way up to the Flat) see if you can get her old man to bet against "within 10 days."
We've been dropping snowmobiles into the water right and left all winter.
Sympathy is hard to come by around here. Spent yesterday with a couple of recent immigrants cleaning flowerbeds. The squirrels and robins were duly appreciative. Got a start around mid-moring when a Japanese Zero passed overhead. Then remenbered last weekend's air show. JAGSC
Judging by all the bluehairs clogging the stores, the streets, and generally getting underfoot this week I'd say they're waiting until the daffodils are well and truly up before returning to their summer nesting areas.

I could use a recent immigrant or two myself. :)
