Idle hands
Serial Number 2. This one is of silver maple with a more aggressive scimitar look to the arms than the earlier model.
Not at all, Joel. Prior to last Thanksgiving I could not have identified it myself. It's a yarn swift, a rotating dealie bopper for holding a hank of yarn so the knitter can wind it into a tight ball. My daughter gave me a general idea of what she wanted, and I knocked it out as a Christmas gift. One of her friends like it and ordered one.
There is some talk of turning this into a cottage industry, but I don't know if it will occur since it would require me to start acting like a responsible adult human being again.

OK, THAT'S cool.
I know I'm going to feel like an idiot if you enlighten me. But I've been looking at it most of a week and I still don't know what it is.
