Gun prices
Back in January I noted an internet+live auction of 500 guns in Aurelia -- classics, oddballs, plain junk.
Cleaning up bookmarks this morning I ran across the final sale prices. Some of you may find it interesting.

:), but do those skinny old Smiths trigger a vague notion that there just isn't quite enough gun there? Not that I don't covet one. I hate myself for trading off a couple-three SWs back in the 90s, and I'm looking hard for a reasonable deal on a M25.)
Crashr: Well, if you'd been in London about three years back you could have had a nicely cased BA/T for a modest 3,500 pounds -- about $6900 in real money. :)

Somebody paid too much for those ivory K-frame grips, but they got a 60% pre-war pencil-barrel M&P thrown in for free, so there's that.
I like the Ernstthaelmann, but from reading Boothroyd's "The Handgun" what I really want (today) is a Beaumont-Adams/Tranter...
